Seal Beach Police To Hold Prescription Drug Take Back Event This Month
Residents will get the chance to give Seal Beach Police their unwanted prescription medication for disposal.
SEAL BEACH, CA — Residents with old, unused medications around their homes can give them to the Seal Beach Police Department on April 30 — no questions asked.
Seal Beach Police is partnering with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration for a drug take-back event at Leisure World. Anyone will be able to drop off any unwanted or expired pills or patches at Leisure World's front gate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The drugs will then be destroyed off-site by the DEA, Seal Beach Police Lt. Nick Nicholas said.
