SEAL BEACH, CA — Early voting is now open in Seal Beach for the 2024 Primary Election, where residents will vote on Board of Supervisors candidates, President and Senator.

With presidential frontrunners former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden expected to win their nominations handily, all eyes in California are on the hotly contested primary race for the seat vacated by the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein as well as a slew of local races.

In North Orange County, which includes Seal Beach and Los Alamitos, voters will choose from five candidates for District 1 County Supervisor. Kimberly Ho, Frances Marquez, Janet Nguyen, Van Tran and Michael Vo are running in the primary on March 5.

Polling Places

Residents can vote on Election Day or choose to vote in person early. Accessible voting locations are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day at the following locations:

  • City of Seal Beach Fire Station 48
    • Early voting will be open starting March 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Seal Beach Senior Center
    • Early voting will be open starting March 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Rossmoor Park Community Center
    • Early voting will be open starting March 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Los Alamitos Unified School District
    • Early voting will be open starting March 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In-person voting locations will offer same-day voter registration, replacement ballots, accessible voting machines and language assistance for those who need it.

Every registered voter in California received an election ballot this month, and there are plenty of ballot drop boxes nearby in which to deposit them.
