SEAL BEACH, CA — City officials in Seal Beach are seeking help putting together a plan to help minimize the effects of future natural disasters.
The Local Hazard Mitigation Plan will provide the framework to reduce the vulnerability of the community to natural hazard events, such as earthquakes and fires, and human-caused hazards, including pandemics, city officials said in a statement Monday.
"The questionnaire is designed to help the city gauge the level of knowledge the community has about natural disasters and human-caused hazards, and to obtain your input about areas that may be vulnerable," city officials said.
