Seal Beach Starbucks Workers Vote To Unionize: Report
The Seal Beach Starbuck Store joins 400 other stores to unionize.

SEAL BEACH, CA — Starbucks workers in Seal Beach voted 9-3 to join more than 400 Starbucks stores to unionize, according to reports.
The Old Ranch Town Center Starbucks store became the 32nd California store to unionize, according to KTLA.
"Joining the 400 unionized stores is a big accomplishment because together we can use our voices to get Starbucks to accurately represent the partner experience,” Starbucks barista Anaiah Hufstetler told KTLA.

In February, Starbucks and Workers United agreed to find a framework for a collective bargaining agreement. The union told KTLA that it is seeking fair pay hours and safe working conditions.
Workers began to seek unionization in 2021, when a store in Buffalo, New York voted to unionize.
