Video captured by NBC shows a once-bustling Westminster Mall now "almost unrecognizable" with graffiti and other vandalism.

WESTMINSTER, CA — A once-bustling Orange County mall is "almost unrecognizable" after being vandalized several times since its closure, NBC Los Angeles reported.

The Westminster Mall is now the site of graffiti, according to video captured by the broadcast publication.

A man, identified only by the pseudonym "Same1," told NBC that he was at the empty plaza overnight Wednesday when he say about 60 people inside.

"I thought it was ridiculous," the man told NBC. "Mostly young people just breaking things."
