SigAlert On Interstate 405: Two Car Collision Results In Injuries

The SigAlert was issued at 9:14 a.m. while authorities work to clear the scene of the crash.

SEAL BEACH, CA — A SigAlert was issued Monday morning due to a two-car collision on the Interstate 405 southbound near Magnolia Street in Fountain Valley. The crash blocked the freeway's carpool and number one lane, California Highway Patrol reported.

An ambulance was requested to the scene by authorities. It is not clear how many people were injured or the extent of their injuries.

The cause of the crash is unknown.

The SigAlert was posted at 9:14 a.m. and will be in effect for thirty minutes while authorities work to clear the scene of the crash. Commuters are encouraged to avoid this part of the freeway while the site is cleaned.
