Big-Rig Flips, Lands On Car On 405 Freeway In Seal Beach Friday
A driver suffered minor injuries while two others escaped injury when a car and big-rig truck collided on the 405 Freeway in Seal Beach.

SEAL BEACH, CA — A driver suffered minor injuries while two others escaped injury when a car and big-rig truck collided on the 405 Freeway in Seal Beach Friday.
The crash was reported at 12:41 p.m. Friday on the southbound side of the freeway, near Seal Beach Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported. The Orange County Fire Authority's emergency command center arrived at the location to rescue the victims trapped in the car.

A 70-year-old woman from Huntington Beach, who was behind the wheel of the Nissan, was taken by helicopter to UC Irvine Medical Center with minor injuries, Smith said. All lanes of the freeway were closed temporarily to land the helicopter.

The truck's driver and a passenger in the Altima were unhurt, he said.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash was asked to call the CHP office in Westminster at 714-892-4426.
