Police Calls: Road Rage and Tows

On Sept. 18, parking violators stay a step ahead of the police.

 

Disturbance

• 6:10 a.m., 27000 block of Purissima Road, LAH; Road Rage incident, verbal only, incident did not occur in Los Altos, reporting party does not desire police contact
• 11:23 a.m., 200 block of Delphi Cir; disturbing the peace, officers made contact, no crime, information only at this time

Parking Violation Complaint

• 9:07 a.m., 700 block of Los Altos Avenue; parking violation, cancelled by reporting party, vehicle owner moved vehicle prior to officer’s arrival
• 10:12 a.m., 300 block of Fremont Ave., parking violation, vehicles moved by owners

Be on the Lookout

• 11:40 a.m., Hollenbeck Ave and Homestead Road; Be on the lookout request from Sunnyvale Office of Public Safety, information relayed to patrols
• 11:49 a.m., Park Avenue and Mountain View Avenue; Be on the lookout request from Mountain View police, relayed to patrols 

Suspicious Vehicles

• 11:55 a.m., Distel Drive and Jardin Drive; suspicious occupied vehicle, officers contacted occupants, no crime, occupants and vehicle had valid reason for being in the area
• 2:58 a.m., 1900 block of Deodara Avenue; suspicious circumstances; officers made contact, no crime, information only

• 12:43 p.m., 2310 Homestead Road (Foothill Crossing); private property tow
• 12:44 p.m. , 2310 Homestead Road (Foothill Crossing); private property tow

Gas Leaf Blower Violation

• 2:05 p.m., 48 N. Gordon Way; municipal code violation, use of gas leaf blower

Stranded Motorist

• 3:49 p.m., Foothill Expressway and Springer Road; stranded motorist, assistance given

Traffic Collision

• 5:46 p.m., Foothill Expressway and Homestead Road; accident, hit and run, no injuries, report taken
