Why Go: If you’re a fan of “Surviving High School” the game, you’ll want to check this out. If you’re not sure what that is, maybe you should check this out, too! M. Doty, author of the "Surviving High School" novel, will be at Linden Tree to talk about writing for video games, writing the "Surviving High School" novel, and the mobile game's journey from a start-up to being acquired by Electronic Arts.  "Surviving High School" is an interactive story that follows students through weekly episodes about the drama, excitement, and fun of high school. As the longest-running episodic game on mobile devices, Linden Tree says, "Surviving High School" has released over three hundred episodes.

If you’re a parent of a young child, 2-6, you might want to start even earlier at Linden Tree. Children’s Picture Book Story Hour begins at 10 a.m. In keeping with the book launch, this week’s theme is writing and drawing, including “Harold and the Purple Crayon.”
