49er Reuben Foster Arrested For Domestic Violence: Police

The San Francisco linebacker was booked into a Santa Clara County jail Sunday following his arrest in Los Gatos, police say.

LOS GATOS, CA — A San Francisco 49ers linebacker was arrested Sunday morning in Los Gatos on suspicion of domestic violence, possessing an assault weapon and making threats, police said. Reuben Foster, 23, was arrested after police responded at 9:15 a.m. to a home on Shannon Road to do a welfare check and check on a possible disturbance.

Police said they spoke with the victim and Foster and as a result of an investigation Foster was arrested and taken to the county jail.

Foster was being held on $75,000 bail, according to county inmate records.

In a statement, officials with the San Francisco 49ers said, "The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the report regarding Reuben Foster. We take matters of this nature seriously and are gathering all
pertinent information."
