6th Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Deputy Tests For Coronavirus
Sheriff's officials are trying to identify other staff members who may have been exposed to the virus.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- A sixth Santa Clara County sheriff's deputy has tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus, sheriff's officials said Thursday.
The deputy is at home and sheriff's officials are investigating who else may have been exposed to the virus including staff and inmates.
The deputy was one of three deputies who was identified earlier as someone who may have been exposed to the virus.

Sheriff's officials reported Wednesday that a fifth deputy tested positive for the coronavirus.
