Community Meeting Scheduled On Los Gatos Highway 17 Overcross Project

LOS GATOS, CA — Los Gatos will hold a community meeting on the Highway 17 Bicycle and Pedestrian Overcrossing Project on Wednesday.

The update comes after the project team held several pop-up events to seek community input and feedback.

The virtual event will include updates on the project and a discussion on determining what the community would like the bridge to look like.

The new bicycle and pedestrian bridge at Blossom Hill Road across Highway 17 would connect east and west Los Gatos, and is projected to be completed by 2024. The site was identified in 2020 as an area where the town could increase safety for pedestrians and bicyclists.
