The festival has been going on for more than 30 years and is expanding this year.
“It’s a cultural event, and we are expanding it this year by making it an international event and adding other types of food besides Russian, for example Georgian food,” said Joan Rhodes of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.

The Russian-themed festival will be offering live entertainment including singers, dancers, musicians and Russian folktale puppets. There will be authentic Russian food from Babushka's Kitchen to feast on from borsch, pelmeni, shashlyk, bliny, golubtsi, stroganoff and many more Russian delicacies. Of course there will be vodka tasting booths, to complement it all.
Visitors can also buy a little part of Russia to take home. The St. Nicholas Orthodox Bookstore and St. Nicholas Vintage Housewares will be selling merchandise and products that can only be found at the Russian Festival.
Admission: Adults $3, children $1 and seniors $1.
