SANTA CLARA COUNTY — Santa Clara County's Almaden Quicksilver County Park will remain closed Sunday because of the response to a nearby vegetation fire blocking access to the park, the park district said.

The fire began in an unincorporated area of the county near the Guadalupe Reservoir on Friday at about 10 p.m. and was estimated to be between 3 to 5 acres on Saturday afternoon, Cal Fire Santa Clara Unit Chief Baraka Carter said Saturday.
