Five New Officers, Dispatcher Join Los Gatos Police Department
The Los Gatos Town Council had pledged to address a dispatcher shortage in October. Three officers also retired last week.

LOS GATOS, CA — Five new officers and a dispatcher recently joined the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department, boosting the department’s numbers after it struggled with a shortage of 911 dispatchers earlier this year.
The new staffers were sworn in Dec. 16. The officers are Scott Floerchinger, Riley Frizzell, Nathan Delia, Nicholas Kirst and Darren Walker, and the new dispatcher is Heather Cross.
They will help replace three officers who retired last week: Officers Kimbal Stanley, Kevin Baughn and Ryan Catron.
