All northbound Highway 17 lanes, blocked early this morning due to a collision in Los Gatos, have been reopened, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision, located on Highway 17 just before Saratoga-Los Gatos Road or Highway 9, was reported at about 2:26 a.m.
The roads were cleared at about 4 a.m., CHP officer Ron Simmons said.
The solo-vehicle crash is being categorized as a property damage-only collision and was caused when the driver of a Toyota SUV swerved to avoid hitting a deer overturning, Simmons explained.
The crash was only blocking the number-one lane, but both lanes of the highway were shut down to turn the vehicle back on its wheels after it rolled over, Simmons added.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash, Simmons said.
A tow truck was called to the scene to remove the car and all lanes were reopened after 4 a.m.
