Silicon Valley homebuilder Robson Homes took home two Grand Awards for the Laurel Mews neighborhood in Los Gatos last week for Home of the Year and Best Single Family Detached 3,000 to 3,499 sq. ft. at the annual PCBC conference’s Gold Nugget Awards.
The winning 3,100-square-foot home in Laurel Mews was also selected as a Gold Nugget Award of Merit winner.
Judges comments include: “Inspired by English cobblestone mews lined with cottage homes, transformed a former car dealership into a single-family development, and restored the property to its historic use. Located on a major thoroughfare at a busy intersection, the project could have lent itself to townhomes or stacked flats, but the nostalgic character of Los Gatos inspired the design team to bring small-town living to the Silicon Valley with finely crafted single-family homes.”
