LOS GATOS, CA — A burglary suspect was arrested Saturday on suspicion of breaking into a CVS in Los Gatos by cutting a hole in the roof of the store next door, according to the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department.

The suspect cut a hole in between the CVS and the neighboring business, according to police.

But the alarm went off, and the alarm company informed officers that the suspect was trying to break into the ATM machine inside.

The suspect was found in a backyard nearby, and was taken into custody with the help of Campbell police, Santa Clara County Sheriff’s deputies and a K-9.

Police did not name the suspect.

On Saturday morning, the department posted several photos on Facebook of holes in the wall of the CVS and the roof of the neighboring store.
