Los Gatos Girl Struck by Vehicle on Union Ave

A 14-year-old girl sustained minor injuries after being struck by a woman driving a white Nissan Pathfinder the afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 3 at the intersection of Union Avenue and Los Gatos-Almaden Road.

According to a Los Gatos/Monte Sereno police report, the accident occurred at 3:54 p.m. when the motorist, described as a woman in her 60s or 70s, hit the girl as she was walking down the street.

The driver was traveling southbound on Union Avenue to westbound Los Gatos-Almaden Road, the report said.

The driver transported the girl to the hospital for treatment after she suffered a broken arm, the report added.
