Los Gatos Power Outage Wednesday Hits 1,500 Customers

LOS GATOS - About 100 PG&E customers remain without power in Los Gatos this afternoon after an outage that began around 11:35 a.m. this morning.

Initially, 1,900 PG&E customers lost power, PG&E spokeswoman Mayra Tostado said.

By 1:50 p.m., crews managed to restore power to about 320 customers, but 1,580 residents and businesses remained without power.

At 2:20 p.m., 111 customers remain powerless. Largely. those affected are in the hills to the south of town.

PG&E crews have still so far been unable to determine the cause of the outage.

The PG&E website estimates power will be restored around 3:30 p.m.
