Murder Suspect Arrested For SJ Woman's Stabbing: San Jose Police
The man was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on suspicion of a Feb. 28 murder.

SAN JOSE, CA -- A 24-year-old transient man was arrested Monday on suspicion of stabbing to death a San Jose woman almost a week ago, San Jose police announced.
San Jose police officers responded to a report of a dead body in the 900 block of Knollfield Way in San Jose on Feb. 28 at 1:48 p.m. Arriving officers located the body of 59-year-old Bambi Larson, who suffered from multiple stab wounds.
A follow up investigation by homicide detectives identified Carlos Eduardo Arevalo Carranza as the person responsible for the murder of Larson. Carranza was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on murder allegations.
