New Micro Food Hall Local Kitchens Opens In Los Gatos

The new location at 681 Blossom Hill Road features food from seven restaurants.

LOS GATOS, CA — Local Kitchens, a micro food hall with several Bay Area locations, opened its newest spot in Los Gatos this week.

The new location at 681 Blossom Hill Road features food from seven restaurants: The Melt, Senor Sisig, Sushirrito, The Plant, Proposition Chicken, SAJJ Mediterranean and Rooster and Rice.

“We are thrilled to partner with Local Kitchens to bring the original sushi burrito to the vibrant community of Los Gatos,” said Peter Yen, the founder of Sushirrito.

The Los Gatos spot is Local Kitchens’ seventh location overall and sixth in the Bay Area.

Jon Goldsmith, the CEO and co-founder of Local Kitchens, said that the company chose Los Gatos because of its “wonderful family-friendly community atmosphere.”

Founded in 2020, Local Kitchens brings together an array of cuisines from local restaurant brands with online ordering and takeout and delivery service. Each location features five to 10 local concepts.

The other Bay Area locations are in Palo Alto, Mountain View, Cupertino, Lafayette and San Jose.

Local Kitchens plans a grand opening party on June 18th for the Los Gatos location from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The hours for the food hall are: Sunday - Wednesday from 11 a.m to 12 a.m. and Thursday - Saturday from 11am to 2am.
