SCC Homicide Detectives Investigate Death Of Woman Found On Roadside

SAN JOSE, CA — Santa Clara County homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found on the side of a road earlier this month in unincorporated San Jose.

In a news release Monday, the sheriff's office said the woman was discovered on the roadside along the 2200 block of Mt. Pleasant Road on Oct. 9. San Jose and county medics responded to the scene and declared the woman dead.

Based on preliminary evidence, the sheriff's office assigned homicide and creme scene detectives to lead the investigation.
