Teleferic Barcelona Opens New Location In Los Gatos
The tapas restaurant is opening its third Bay Area location on Thursday.
LOS GATOS, CA — Teleferic Barcelona is opening a new location in Old Town Los Gatos on Thursday.
The restaurant, at 50 University Avenue, offers the likes of tapas and paellas. It also has spots in Walnut Creek and Palo Alto.
The Los Gatos location is an open space concept with a Mediterranean aesthetic. It will also be open for lunch and dinner, and feature a market that specializes in wine, imported Spanish products and grab-and-go items including homemade sangria to go.

Teleferic Barcelona first arrived in the Bay Area eight years ago in Walnut Creek, and opened in Palo Alto two years ago.
The design, crafted by the European interior design firm Tarruella Trenchs, has “modern Spanish vibes,” according to a news release. The restaurant also has an outdoor patio and a speakeasy for private events.
