Tesla Teams Up With Evergreen College For Paid Tech Training
Evergreen Valley College has tapped into the innovative electric car maker to recruit those interesting in a career in the technology.

SAN JOSE, CA -- Evergreen Valley College students may start the new year with a fresh start on a new career. The college located east of Los Gatos and south of San Jose is offering a 12-week program called Tesla START, which is designed to provide students with skills to work at a Tesla Service Center.
Graduates will have received hands-on training in self-paced labs and gain extensive knowledge of the electric car environment. Up to 15 students will be accepted per paid session. Upon graduation, Tesla will work with each student for placement purposes.
"This partnership is vital to propel and prepare out students for a high demand and emerging occupation within the automotive industry," EVC's Dean of Business and Workforce Maniphone Dickerson said.
