• Person Found Dead Following Structure Fire in Lucerne Valley; Bomb Squad Requested (vvng.com) — A deadly house fire on North Side Road in Lucerne Valley Monday evening left one adult dead and brought in the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad over concerns about possible explosives. Firefighters knocked down the blaze from a defensive position before entering and finding the victim, and investigators are still working to determine what caused the fire.
