Madera Police Arrest Two Suspects in Armed Robbery Case (gvwire.com) — Madera police arrested two 21-year-old men in connection with a November 8 armed robbery at Rancho San Miguel in which a victim was shot. Officers say surveillance footage and other evidence led them to a city residence, where they recovered a handgun, cash, and other items tied to the crime before booking both suspects into Madera County Jail on multiple felony charges.

SBA Offers Disaster Assistance to California Businesses, Private Nonprofits and Residents Affected by the Pack Fire (sba.gov) — Madera County residents and business owners can now apply for low-interest SBA disaster loans after the Pack Fire, which affected several California counties. Assistance is available for damaged homes, personal property, and businesses, plus economic injury loans for lost revenue. Applications are open through early 2026, with help available online, by phone, or at an outreach center in Mono County.
