Bacteria Warning Issued For 1 Malibu Beach
Increased bacteria levels at Topanga Canyon Beach in Malibu make for unsafe swimming conditions, the public health department said Monday.

MALIBU, CA — Visitors should avoid swimming, surfing or playing in the water at Topanga Canyon Beach, the Los Angeles County Public Health Department announced on Monday.
Elevated bacteria levels in the beach water makes it unsafe for contact. Water use warnings were also issued Monday for the Santa Monica Pier, Mother's Beach in Marina Del Rey and Inner Bacrillo Beach in San Pedro.
Check back in on beach conditions using the health department's hotline, 800-525-5662, or the department's website.
