Calamigos Ranch provided the perfect "ethereal" feel for this woman-centric bag company to show off its products.

MALIBU, CA — Looking for an ethereal feel, female-focused bag company Baggallini hosted a day of bags, brunch and booty burning exercise in Malibu on May 19.

The event was held at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, where attendees took a workout class with TV host and fitness instructor Brooke Burke and monogrammed their new Baggallini bags. Later in the evening, attendees enjoyed a dinner under the stars at Calamigos Ranch.

Baggallini sells travel and every day bags made specifically for women. Baggallini's best sellers include a convertible backpack, crossbody bags of varying sizes and phone wallet crossbody bags.

The bags are designed to "enhance the lives of modern women in this ever-changing world," according to the brand's website. At the Malibu event, Baggallini President Devon Pike discussed the brand's mission to empower women with functional and stylish design.

"Today’s women are balancing their busy lives, embracing their multi-dimensional identities and making an impact. These women inspire us," Baggallini wrote on its website.

Though Baggallini is based on the East Coast, Malibu offered the brand the perfect setting for an "ethereal" event.

"The brand is based on the East Coast, but we wanted an ethereal, outdoor setting to compliment the brand’s travel-focus and beautiful design," Baggallini told Patch.

The event included a star-studded guest list, including Dancing With the Stars dancer Peta Murgatroyd and actress Daniella Monet.
