Hiker's Body Found at Thornhill Broome Beach in Malibu: UPDATED
Officials report that a body was found on a sand hill in Malibu.

MALIBU, CA- A body believed to be a hiker was found on a California state beach in Malibu Tuesday afternoon, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.
Malibu fire crews were dispatched to a report of an unresponsive hiker on a sand hill at Thornhill Broome Beach around 3:30 p.m., according to a tweet from fire officials. When paramedics arrived, the person was determined to be deceased.
Fire Capt. Mike Lindbery told the Malibu Times that the patient was found on a 40-foot dune. The cause of death is unknown at this time. Ventura County Sheriff's officials are investigating.

Malibu Fire crews are reportedly clearing the scene as Ventura Sheriff's investigate the body found in the California state park beach, according to Ventura Fire officials.
