Stolen Vehicle Found Over the Side of Decker Canyon
Deputies identified the car as a "dumped stolen vehicle" and no one was inside.

Sheriff's deputies were investigating a stolen vehicle over the side of Decker Canyon Road in Malibu Monday.
The car was reported over the side about 6 p.m. Monday, according to Sgt. Waters of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lost Hills/Malibu Station.
Search and rescue officers went down into the canyon, but determined that the car was stolen, Waters said.

Sgt. Johnson said no one was found in or near the vehicle.
"The vehicle has been identified as a 'dumped stolen vehicle,'" Johnson said, adding that the car was marked by law enforcement.

Decker Canyon Road was closed for about three hours from Pacific Coast Highway to School Road during the operation.
