Design of Santa Monica College's Malibu Campus Released

The 27,500-square-foot educational facility will take the place of an existing Los Angeles County Sheriff's station building.

The early design of the proposed Santa Monica College satellite campus were revealed this month.

The plans for the proposed 27,500-square-foot, two-story educational facility were revealed at the Thursday, April 4 Malibu Public Facilities Authority meeting at Malibu City Hall.

Known as the Santa Monica College Malibu Center, the planned $25 million building includes a modern-environmentally sensitive design on Civic Center Way near the Malibu Library. It will also include a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s sub-station.
