Dr. Dre Handcuffed at His Malibu Home, Accused of Brandishing a Gun
Dre told deputies the man was blocking his driveway but denied making any threats against the man.

MALIBU, CA — Dr. Dre was placed under a private person's arrest outside his Malibu home Monday after a motorist accused the rap star of brandishing a gun, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The music mogul was handcuffed but was later cited by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department after deputies found no evidence Dre had pointed a gun at the man nor did they find a weapon.

Under California's law, an individual can request a private person's arrest if deputies did not witness an alleged crime, sheriff’s Capt. Chris Reed told the Times.
