The city of Malibu, in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, offers its next Malibu CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training course in a four-day series of classes offered on Saturdays, Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25.
The CERT program was established to train resident volunteers to provide assistance to the city during an emergency in Malibu and to educate and promote disaster/emergency awareness to all citizens.
