The trial of Sina Khankhanian, the man accused of second-degree murder in the death of Malibu eighth-grader Emily Shane, begins. It takes place at the Airport Courthouse in Department D, located on the eighth floor.
The trial is open to the public. It is expected to take at least two weeks on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.Â
