presents comedic acting icons Dick Van Dyke and brother Jerry Van Dyke in Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys. This special performance will run from April 13 to April 17.
Produced originally in 1972 on Broadway, the play tells the story of Lewis and Clark, a vaudeville-performing duo separated by 40 years of bad blood. The cantankerous two reunite for a special history of comedy TV program on CBS. The comedy follows the two as they muddle through rehearsal, decades of stubborn differences of opinion and a host of shenanigans during the broadcast.
Dick Van Dyke is an American comedy treasure with a resume that has brought laughter and entertainment to generations of audiences through the years on the silver screen, television and stage. Jerry Van Dyke is best-known for his Emmy Award-nominated role as Luther Van Dam on Coach. He has a long history as a comedic performer from his Air Force days of the ‘50s performing in Special Services Shows to his TV appearances on programs including The Ed Sullivan Show and The Judy Garland Show.
