Expect Closures On Topanga Canyon Boulevard: Caltrans
Topanga Canyon Boulevard will see closures Thursday afternoon, which could congest the canyon road.
MALIBU, CA — State Route 27, Topanga Canyon Boulevard, saw closures Thursday afternoon for tree removal.
The roadway was reduced to alternating one-lane driving from Oakwood Drive and Old Topanga Canyon Road, according to the California Department of Transportation. The roadwork was expected to be complete by 2:30 p.m.
There was some traffic in both directions near the closure late Thursday morning. CalTrans removed trees near the roadway.
