LOS ANGELES, CA — Candidates for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, District 3 will go head-to-head at a candidate forum Wednesday night at the Hammer Museum in Westwood.

Come Nov. 8, either state senator Bob Hertzberg (D-Van Nuys) or West Hollywood City Council member Lindsey Horvath will replace supervisor Sheila Kuehl's seat representing the massive 3rd District, which covers much of the San Fernando Valley and communities from Malibu to Hollywood. Kuehl did not run for re-election.

The forum will starts at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hammer Museum's Billy Wilder Theater, located at 10899 Wilshire Boulevard. The forum will also be live-streamed. Watch the livestream below, or using this link.

Hertzberg was the top vote-getter in the June 8 primary with 31.08 percent of the vote, followed by Horvath with 27.74 percent of the vote. The two edged out state Senator Henry Stern (D-Malibu), who grabbed 24.31 percent of the vote.

Wednesday's debate will be moderated by Spectrum News 1 anchor Alex Cohen and UCLA Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Darnell Hunt. The District 3 debate will be preceded by a forum for the Los Angeles City Council, District 5, which covers some of the San Fernando Valley and much of the westside of Los Angeles.
