Mudslide Shuts Down Topanga Canyon Boulevard
A mudslide shut down Topanga Canyon Boulevard Tuesday morning.

A stretch of Topanga Canyon Boulevard was shut down Wednesday morning due to a mudslide.
The 3.6 mile stretch of the road between Pacific Coast Highway and Grand View Drive was shut down until further notice due to a slide in the canyon at postmile 1.2, according to Caltrans.
"The closure is to protect the public from serious injuries and fatalities. As Caltrans works to restore the road, it will maintain access for emergency responders. Crews are also monitoring the recovery work zone on State Route 1/Pacific Coast Highway, but there are no impacts at this time," Caltrans said in a release.
