'Love Into Action' Cycling Tour to Make Stop in Malibu

Cyclists will stop in Malibu during a 500-mile ride from Monterey to San Diego as part of a fundraiser to support education in Uganda later this month.

The ride, which is set for May 12-18, aims to raise $100,000 for Restore International projects, including scholarships, textbooks, uniforms, medical care and classrooms for the Restore Leadership Academy in Uganda, according to organizers.

Cyclists will ride through Big Sur before stopping in Malibu on May 16.

Tom Ritchey, founder of Ritchey Logic and Project Rwanda, will co-lead the tour.
