Snow
You may not be expecting Snow in the middle of May, but here she is. A nice change from the hot weather. So refreshing, someone you'd want to chill with on a hot day. Snow is nearly perfect.
She's hypo-allergenic, cute as can be with her curls all permed. She's a great size at 27 pounds and a great age at 5 years, mellow but still playful. The vet who performed Snow's medical check-up upon impound made a note: "very sweet, beautiful dog."
Even her impound photo was adorable -- and that's a rarity! Give Snow just a minute and she will smother you in kisses. She's the kind of dog who likes to be held and cuddled. What a joy! Just one issue to mention: Snow has bilateral cataracts and can't see much. But, that doesn't stop her from exploring and figuring out how to navigate in this world.
Nor does it stop her from loving you without hesitation. Just as she hopes you will do for her. Come meet Snow and you'll see what a cool gal she is. Her Adoption ID # is A1389247.
Cody
Want a chunk of delicious chocolate? Then Cody is your guy. A chocolate lab mix, so mellow and smooth, easy on the eyes and absolutely delicious.
Cody is a bit shy upon first meeting but develops strong bonds with his shelter friends once you take him for a stroll. In fact, when we first met, he didn't want to walk at all but would put on the brakes every few steps. Now Cody walks like a champion, with a prance to his step.
He'll jump up and come to the front of the cage when we show up, anxious to get out of his holding cell and on to better pastures. He's such a sweet boy, so gentle with everyone, including kids who've come to visit.
We've had him out with other dogs and he's been well-behaved on that front as well. Cody is 3 years old and about 70 pounds. Such a lovely boy who deserves to spend this summer by the beach, on the trails, or just by your side. Cody's Adoption ID # is A1385331.
