Malibu Canyon Road Reopens After Weekend Closure
The road was shut down ahead of the weekend storm as a landslide-preventive measure.
MALIBU, CA — Malibu Canyon Road fully reopened Monday morning at 6 a.m. after it was closed over the weekend.
Officials closed the road ahead of the weekend's storm, which brought rain and cold to the region. The closure was done as a safety precaution, due to the recent prevalence of landslides in the Malibu area during this particularly rainy season.
