Malibu Creek Watershed Report Focus of Free Workshop

The report, which includes 12 years of data collected by Heal the Bay's Stream Team, discusses the habitat, water quality and flora and fauna of the Malibu Creek Watershed.

Heal the Bay and the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission will host a workshop on the health of the Malibu Creek Watershed later this month.

The free workshop, which will focus on a report called "Malibu Creek Watershed: Ecosystem on the Brink," is set for 6:30 p.m. March 19 at the Diamond X Ranch in Calabasas, which is off Mulholland Highway and Wickland Road.

The report, which includes 12 years of data collected by Heal the Bay's Stream Team, discusses the habitat, water quality and flora and fauna of the Malibu Creek Watershed, according to Heal the Bay.

The Malibu Creek Watershed is the second largest watershed draining to the Santa Monica Bay.
