Malibu Godmother Dolores Rivellino to Discuss 'The Malibu Cookbook'

Desserts will compliment a talk by Malibu Godmother Dolores Rivellin, on her book "The Malibu Cookbook" on Thursday as part of the grand opening of the Bank of Books in Malibu.

Dolores Rivellino, known as the Godmother of Malibu, will discuss her book "The Malibu Cookbook" Thursday as part of the grand opening of Bank of Books in Malibu.

Rivellino is expected to discuss her book between 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at Bank of Books on Heathercliff Road at Pacific Coast Highway, according to organizers.

In "The Malibu Cookbook," Rivellino shares some of her secret recipes as well as stories about people and food in New York and Malibu.

Rivellino is the owner is the Godmother of Malibu, a favorite lunch spot nestled in the Malibu Racquet Club.

Starting at 3 p.m., other authors featured will be Kaira Rouda of "Here, Home, Hope," Louise Cabral of "Islands of Recall: Write Your Life Story," Anne Black Gray of "The Devil's Son," and Linda Ballou of "Wai-Lani; High Chiefess of Hawaii."
