Malibu High Tests New Fire Alarm

The testing began Monday and will continue through Thursday at Malibu High School.

The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District will be conducting testing of the new Fire Alarm System at Malibu High School through Thursday, Sept. 20.

The test will include both the audible and visual styems, according to a press release from the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District.

The testing will begin at 8 a.m. and stop by 7 p.m., while the visual device will be tested from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Neighboring homes in the area received notice of the testing, according to the school district.
