Malibu LEAD Announces Winner Of Logo Design Contest
The design "beautifully represents all of our Malibu public schools with open hands sprouting knowledge and life," according to Malibu LEAD.
MALIBU, CA — The winner of the Malibu LEAD Logo Contest Competition is Tobin Lankford, a local artist who attended public schools, the nonprofit announced Thursday.
Lankford’s design "beautifully represents all of our Malibu public schools with open hands sprouting knowledge and life," the Malibu LEAD press release said. Visit Malibu LEAD to see the logo design.
Lankford lost his family home in the Corral Fire, and had been living in a guest house with his wife that burned in the Woolsey Fire. His clothing company, Unify Through Art, makes unique streetwear meant to inspire creativity in young people through art.
