Malibu Mail Theft Suspect Freed on Bail
Hundreds of pieces of mail and evidence of alleged identity theft were seized, according to the LAPD

VAN NUYS, CA — A 41-year-old woman suspected of stealing hundreds of piece of mail and packages from victims in the San Fernando Valley, Malibu and West Los Angeles was free on $50,000 bail today.
Tagui Abramyan was arrested Thursday morning at a Van Nuys residence after investigators from the Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Station served a search warrant.
Hundreds of pieces of mail and evidence of alleged identity theft were seized, according to Officer Drake Madison of the LAPD's media relations office.

He said Abramyan had been caught on video exiting a white Mercedes-Benz and alleged taking a mailed package from the front of a home.
An unidentified male suspect remains at large, he said.

Abramyan was released Thursday and is due in court in Van Nuys on Sept. 29, according to sheriff's inmate records.
