MALIBU, CA — Hey, good morning Kanye.

Kanye West just bought a $57.3 million home in Malibu, which might be better classified as a work of art by Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

The house was originally designed to serve almost as a gallery for the original owner, former Wall Street financier Richard Sachs, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The property was originally listed at $75 million; but even at its discounted price, the house is the second most expensive sale in Malibu this year, Dirt reported.

Yahoo! Life reported that West has been obsessed with Japanese art ever since he visited Naoshima, a remote island in Japan dubbed "art island" featuring architecture by Ando and tons of museums, galleries and installations.
