Malibu Named Top City For Online Window Shopping: Analysis

MALIBU, CA — Malibu is among the most popular cities in the country for online window shoppers, according to a recent Zillow report.

Malibu ranked the third most desirable city on for online shoppers following South Lake Tahoe and neighboring Calabasas. Zillow attributes Malibu's success to its celebrity clientele and beachfront location.

Zillow's analysis included multiple factors to determine how popular a city was online including: Zillow's page-view traffic, housing available in the city, average price appreciation and more, according to the report.

The online ranking also followed pandemic real estate trends, like interest in good year-round weather, affordability and how conducive a home is to remote working, according to Zillow.
