After restricting water use to necessities, Malibu residents can resume normal water use Thursday.

MALIBU, CA — After multiple days of repairs, Malibu residents were able to resume normal water use Thursday, the city announced.

Los Angeles County Public Works water main repairs were completed Thursday, meaning Malibu residents could return to normal after restricting water use to only drinking and sanitation necessities. The construction started Tuesday and lasted through Wednesday evening.

"LA County Public Works was working a transmission main along PCH from east of Temescal Canyon Rd to just west of Entrada Drive as part of the District No. 29 Malibu Branch Feeder 30-inch Realignment project," the city said.
